1/24/14 IKEA SALAD SPINNER $1.99
Last week I went to a Pampered Chef party. As usual, I walk away spending way too much for a lot of kitchen gadgets I don't necessarily need. During the demo, I fell in love with their salad spinner. I have never owned a salad spinner and never thought I really needed one. The representative really sold me on the spinner and at the end of the demo I grabbed the catalog to see that the spinner was $60!! Seriously? So I skipped the spinner and bought a measuring cup instead, even though I have 4 of them. A few days later, my husband and I were walking through Ikea and I saw a salad spinner on sale for $1.99! So of course I bought it. Well, my life has changed and now washing lettuce, spinach, kale, cauliflower, broccoli, berries etc. has become super easy. I guess I have been missing out all these years.
